드라마스케이프, 21세기 드라마 연구를 위한 세 번째 시론(試論)－OTT의 배속 시청과 유튜브의 요약 시청을 중심으로－

Abstract

Watching dramas in the 20th century was a very stubborn act. This is the case in that the rules of the television program schedule that viewers view when broadcast by broadcasters work. However, the 21st century, the era of Internet-television, is different. The so-called streaming and uploading of videos guaranteed by the Internet environment has virtually withered the television program schedule's dominance. Representing this is OTT and YouTube. This video platform even adds the function of controlling the speed and time of watching while serving VOD in name and reality. It refers to constant speed watching, where the airtime matches the watching time; fast speed watching, where the watching time is slower or faster than constant speed; summary watching, where the original is edited and abbreviated; and skip watching, where the watching time is skipped by seconds during any watching. Watching like a rhizome, a break from the stubborn paths and methods of last century's watching, leads to the establishment of audiovisual reading. This is because the independent reading behavior, in which interruption and continuation are repeated with the individual's aesthetic will, is now achieved intact in watching behavior. In this context, the establishment of audiovisual reading is nothing less than the Copernican Revolution of Watching organized by the 21st century Dramascape.
