Abstract

In 1987, the Independence Hall was established and Koreans began to show full interest in the independence movement. It was different from the previous form. In addition, the opening of the independence movement began to appear steadily from this time. The national interest in the independence movement was also reflected through the media. However, the quantitative expansion of the opening letter has not been as noticeable as the interest in the independence movement since the 2000s. It was the reality before the 2000s that the opening letters describing the independence movement were published on an overly ideological basis, such as when the limitations of historical narrative in the era of division were not overcome. Since the 2000s, historical books have been published that have expanded existing history books or described the independence movement of socialist forces of socialism. In other words, the history of independence activists in Manchuria and China seems to have entered the stage of explaining the history based on objective facts. The task of explaining the reality of the division system will be to explain the opening of the Korean Independence Movement History in the future.
