무선 네트워크 기술의 발전과 하드웨어의 소형화를 통해 데스크탑 및 노트북의 활용보다는 휴대전화를 비롯한 모바일 환경과 웨어러블 기기의 활용이 크게 증가 되었다. 가장 빠르게 변화하고 있는 모바일시장에서 모든 사람이 정보통신기기나 서비스를 손쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 만든 지침인 모바일 접근성(Mobile Accessibility)은 장애인, 노령자 등 정보소외계층도 어려움 없이 누구에게나 동등하고 편리하게 인터넷을 이용할 수 있도록 개정된 PC용 웹 접근성지침이 모바일 접근성지침으로 확대 재정되었다. 본 논문에서는 모바일기기에서의 모바일 표준 접근성의 준수사항과 권고사항의 현황을 파악하고 모바일 운영체제(OS)인 아이폰OS와 안드로이드OS의 접근성 설정기능을 조작적 관점에서 모바일 어플리케이션 운영체제의 접근성 실태와 개선점을 연구하고자한다.
Abstract
Usage of Mobile Phone and Wearable device in mobile environments has been rapidly increased rather than usage of Desktop and Laptop because of developing the new wireless network technology and reducing the size of hardware. The Mobile Accessibility, guide that everyone would use easily with information device or service, is additionally published base on Web Accessibility that is applied for using internet system on PC and Web Service without any discrimination with age, disabled, and digital divide. In this paper, identify the current status of compliance and recommendations with accessibility on mobile device and standards, and research the accessibility of setting features between iOS and Android mobile operation system and suggest the what the mobile operation system needs to be improved for accessibility of mobile.
