Abstract
The theme of this thesis is to demonstrate the essence of "archetype" in C.G. Jung’s "collective unconsciousness". There are two aspects of this question: One is the distinction of "archetype" and "primordial image". The other is the relation of "archetype" and "primordial image”. Firstly, we will analyze the basic relationship of these two concepts. Secondly, we will demonstrate the essence of "archetype" in C.G. Jung’s using of these two concepts and to define the differences of "archetype" and "primordial image”. Thirdly, we will try to find out a possible way to demonstrate the connotation of "archetype" after the analysis of its existence and appearance. In this part, we will concern about the formation of "archetype", the inheritable of the appearance of "archetype" and the reciprocal of "archetype" and the appearance of "archetype". In order to demonstrate C.G. Jung’s "archetype" in multiple perspectives.
