1950년대 대전문학의 민족성과 장소성: 전여해의 시를 중심으로

Abstract

This paper examines the ethnicity and the locality projected in the poems of Jeon Yeohae, which were forgotten in the literary history of Daejeon. Having led a life with many twists and turns. For 10 years from 1950, he continued to show the locality of ‘Daejeon’ in his works with a realistic tendency to inspire ethnic consciousness and represent the lives of ordinary people. As a result, he has been in a very important position in Daejeon literature history. Poet Jeon Yeo-hae has a deep connection with the “Dongbang Shinmun” and “Hoseo Literature”. In April 1950, he published a review in the Dongbang Newspaper, and in the mid-1950s, he joined the Hoseo Literature Society in Wondong, Daejeon, and published two poems(「For you only」, 「A white plate and clouds」) in the 3rd and 4th Hoseo Literature As can be seen from the publication of Clouds」), the poet Jeon Yeo-hae has a deep connection with ‘Dongbang Shinmun’ and ‘Hoseo Literature’. He also paid a lot of attention to the “labor movement” and the “April Revolution”. His tendencies appear in the works related to the streets and squares of Daejeon and the field of labor, such as “Heonsa”, “To a Young Motherland: A Song of April with Chorus”, and “Makkjagogae”. After the serious slip of the pen, this poet secluded himself from the society by living a life at ‘The Mount Bomun(Hanjeoggol)’, a space of utopia. There he created a new utopian world based on literary beliefs for peoples. In his poem “Hanjeoggol” and his essay “In the Hanjeoggol”, which sang about this place, we can find a leisurely and peaceful appearance of him. In this way, Jeon Yeo-hae can be evaluated as a national poet and anarchist poet who tried to constantly project ethnicity and locality through his works. Thus, the year before can be evaluated as a national poet and an anarchist poet who wants to constantly project ethnicity and placeability through his works and plain text.
