본 논문은 니체 철학에서 미적 취향이란 무엇인지 밝히고자 한다. 니체 철학은 쾌와 불쾌라는 감정 상태를 충동으로부터 형성되는 취향으로 다룬다. 그래서 니체의 미적 취향은 개별적 인간 안에서 감정적 상태가 어떻게 더 나은 상태로 변화할 수 있는지를 제시한다. 이 미적 취향은 감정적 불화 상태로 남아 있는 사회적 갈등의 문제를 합리성과 같은 다른 척도를 도입하여 비판적으로 접근하는 것이 아니라 감정적 충동 안에서 더 나은 방식으로 변화하는 방법을 제시한다. 그래서 니체의 미적 취향은 감정적 충동의 내적인 상승이다. 이 글은 니체의 미적 취향의 특징을 근대 미학의 취미와 미적 판단력과의 차이 속에서 드러내고, 니체의 미적 취향이 무엇인지를 밝히고, 더 나아가 니체의 미적 취향이 어떻게 삶의 취향과 힘에의 의지의 삶의 징후로 해석될 수 있는지 밝히고자 한다.
Abstract
This thesis aims to reveal what aesthetic taste is in Nietzsche’s philosophy. Nietzsche’s philosophy treats the emotional states of pleasure and displeasure as tates formed from impulses. So what Nietzsche calls aesthetic taste suggests how an individual’s emotional state can ba altered for the better. This aesthetic taste suggests a way to change emotional impulses in a better direction rather than critically approach the problem of emotionally discordant social conflict by introducing other measures such as rationality. Thus, Nietzsche's aesthetic taste is an inner ascent of emotional impulses. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to reveal the characteristics of Nietzsche's aesthetic taste in the difference between aesthetic taste and aesthetic judgment in modern aesthetics. Furthermore, it is to determine what Nietzsche's aesthetic taste is and whether it can be interpreted as a taste of life and a Symptom of Will to Power.
