Abstract

Analyzed a background and a case of contemporary wedding dress by introducing Korean tradition aesthetic. Analyzed and studied the Hwal-Att pattern of princess Bok-On during Chosun dynasty. Utilized the traditional pattern among the traditional line, shape, material, pattern, and the color.Appliced techniques by embroidering directly on a fabric, attaching an embroidery motive on fabric, and by bidding. The rhythmical pattern was presented with repeating the pattern.Reconstructed the bomoon by applying yunbomoon, yeobmoon, and neogongsukbomoon. Extended contemporary territory with the traditional pattern.Produced three origianl one-piece dress. Rereated a design of wedding dress by adding a traditional elements to contemporary sense. Be able to express the national originality and universality.
