The purpose of this study is to figure out the lower body type through the forming theoretical methodology for the individual-specific clothes and quantification, using 3D data. The total of 55 female subjects between the ages of 20-24 were used for this study. Especially, in order to furnish the data for custom-made clothing, it suggested the measurement needed for basic skirt and calculates the total amount of waist dart. The results of this study are as follows:1. The each shape of buttocks was much different each other in human body form to hip circumference of horizontal section, and it showed the position of each section was also different in the front, side, and back. 2. It was confirmed that abdomen was the thickest part in the length of original center line of the position relations between each sections. 3. As a result of correlation analysis, Lower Body outline has high relationship with hip circumference. 4. It's representative figure in the large amount of dart intake group, just like the middle group, had a clear curved shape of hip horizontal section, and small size of waist section. 5. The calculation of waist dart amount for basic skirt can be made, using the theoretical method of horizontal section polymerism figure and height.
