청소년 자원봉사활동의 참여 실태와 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 : 서천군을 중심으로

Abstract

The student volunteer system was recently introduced to provide the students of junior high school and high school with the opportunity to help the social disadvantages and develope themselves in their schools. However, the student volunteer system is not firmly established in the schools yet. Most of the students is seeing the volunteer system as a passing process for graduating and the school authorities and the teachers are not so concerned with it. In spite of its importance, the student volunteer system is becoming just one part of the educational records. Through the process of this study, I suggest several alternatives for the revitalization of volunteering activities as follows; First, the spirit of volunteerism should be strengthened. Second, regal and institutional reforms for involvement of schools are necessary. Third, society as well as schools must change their attitudes to the student volunteer system and social institutions related to the student voluntary activities should cooperate each other.
