본 연구의 주요 목적은 꿈의 오케스트라 참여 효과의 종단적 검증이다. 이를 위해, 아동의 꿈의 오케스트라 참여가 종단적 관점에서 음악적 성장, 개인발달, 인적관계, 공공적 함의 및 사회경제적 혜택에 미치는 영향과 이러한 효과의 영향 요인을 규명하기 위한 연구문제를 설정하였다. 자료는 꿈의 오케스트라 참여 아동을 대상으로 2016년(1년차), 2017년(2년차), 2018년(3년차)의 3차에 걸친 패널 조사를 통해 수집되었고, 총 109명의 패널 데이터를 분석에 이용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 꿈의 오케스트라 참여 아동은 음악지식, 음악향유, 음악태도, 음악활동 차원 모두에서 유의한 수준의 음악적 성장을 보였다. 둘째, 개인발달 영역의 평가 결과 꿈의 오케스트라 참여 이후 자존감, 의사소통능력, 미래전망 수준이 유의하게 성장하였다. 셋째, 인적 관계 영역의 검증 결과 타인수용도, 배려와 협동의 구성차원인 집단촉진, 팔로워십, 갈등문제해결 능력이 꿈의 오케스트라 참여 이후 유의하게 향상되었다. 마지막으로 공공적 함의 및 사회경제적 혜택 영역의 분석 결과 꿈의 오케스트라 참여 이후 사회적 신뢰, 소속감 및 유대감, 공동체 참여 행동수준이 유의하게 향상되었다. 한편 아동들의 변화는 평가 1년차와 2년차에 유의하게 향상되었고 2년차와 3년차에는 유의한 변화가 없는 수준에서 유지되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 참여 아동의 꿈의 오케스트라 단원 자부심, 참여 적극성, 부모와 동료의 지지, 그리고 학교 정규 교육 이외 다른 음악 교육 경험은 꿈의 오케스트라 효과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 정(+)의 요인으로 규명되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to longitudinally examine the Dream Orchestra effects. To do this, the panel survey was conducted three times in 2016 (Year 1), 2017 (Year 2), and 2018 (Year 3) for children participating in dream orchestra. The main results of this study are as follows. First, children who participated in the dream orchestra significantly improved their music knowledge, music enjoyment, music attitude, and music activity regarding musical improvement. Second, self-esteem, communication skills, future outlook, and math ability were improved significantly in terms of personal development. Third, there was a significant improvement in the personal relationship. Specifically, the receptiveness, consideration, and cooperation (collective promotion, followership, problem solving ability) were significantly improved. Finally, social trust, sense of belonging and community participation behavior were significantly improved from the point of view of communal meaning socioeconomic benefits. Also, contrast analysis showed that there was a significant difference between 2016 and 2017, while there was no significant difference between 2017 and 2018, indicating that child change was internalized. In addition, the pride of participant's dream orchestra, parental and peer support, out-of-school music education experience had a significant positive impact on the dream orchestra effectiveness.
