단과대학별 대학생의 학습민첩성이 자기주도학습역량 및 협력적 문제해결역량에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Students’ Learning Agility on Self-Directed Learning Competency and Collaborative Problem Solving Competency According to the College in Higher Education

초록

미래의 불확실성이 더욱 높아지고 있는 요즘, 사회에서 요구하고 있는 미래핵심인재를 양성하고있는 고등교육에서 관심을 가져야 할 역량 중의 하나는 학습민첩성이 될 수 있다. 학습민첩성은 개인수준과 조직수준에서 발현되는 양상이 다를 수 있는데, 고등교육 맥락에서 개인수준에서의 자기주도학습역량과 조직수준에서의 협력적 문제해결역량에 있어 학습민첩성의 어떠한 요인이 영향을 미치는지를 살펴본다면, 개인과 조직의 특성에 맞게 학습민첩성 향상 전략을 고등교육맥락에서 제안할수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원에서 우리나라 대학교에 재학중인 대학생1,000명을 목표표집하여 수집한 자료를 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 학습민첩성의 요인에 있어 자기주도학습역량에는 도전정신, 변화수용성, 학습책임감, 논리적사고, 경험성찰, 지적호기심 등이 정적상관으로 나타났고, 협력적 문제해결역량에는 도전정신, 지적호기심, 변화수용성, 논리적사고, 학습책임감, 경험성찰, 체제적사고가 정적상관으로 나타났다. 단과대학 계열별로 학습민첩성이 자기주도학습역량에 있어 의학계열은 도전정신, 변화수용성, 학습책임감, 논리적사고, 경험성찰, 체저적사고 등이 영향을 미친 반면 교육계열은 학습책임감과 변화수용성만이 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 협력적 문제해결역량에 있어서 인문사회계열은 도전정신과 체제적사고, 공학자연계열은 도전정신과 논리적사고, 의학계열은 체제적사고, 예체능계열은 지적호기심 등이 주요하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 학습민첩성을 향상시키기 위한 몇 가지 논의 및 시사점을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of students’ learning agility (challenging mind, learning responsibility, reflecting experience, intellectual curiosity, systemic thinking, change adaptability, and logical thinking) on self-directed learning competency and collaborative problem-solving competency according to the college in higher education. To address this goal, 1,000 target-sampled data of university students, which were nationally collected in ‘Korea Youth Competency Measurement and International Comparative Study II: IEA ICCS 2016’, were analyzed. As a result, in terms of self-directed learning competency, challenging mind, change adaptability, learning responsibility, logical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and reflecting experience as factors of learning agility were positively correlated. In terms of collaborative problem-solving competency, challenging mind, intellectual curiosity, change adaptability, logical thinking, learning responsibility, system thinking, and reflecting experience as factors of learning agility were positively correlated, In most college, learning agility factors such as change acceptability, challenging spirit, and learning responsibility had an effect on self-directed learning ability. Learning agility factors such as challenging spirit, logical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and learning responsibility had an effect on cooperative problem-solving competency. These results confirmed that learning agility was expressed in different ways at the individual level (self-directed learning competency) or organizational level (collaborative problem-solving competency), and in particular, the expression pattern was different depending on the characteristics of the job task (by college). Based on these research results, some discussions and implications for improving the learning agility of college students were suggested.
