전환기 초등학생의 진로발달과 부모진로관련행동, 진로자기효능감의 구조적 관계

이 연구에서는 전환기 초등학생의 진로발달과 부모진로관련행동, 진로자기효능감 간의 인과적 구조 관계를 구명하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 전환기 초등학생의 진로발달과 부모진로관련행동, 진로자기효능감 간의 인과적 구조모형을 설정하였고, 부모진로관련행동, 진로자기효능감이 진로발달에 미치는 직·간접적 효과를 살펴보았다. 이 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전환기 초등학생의 진로발달과 부모진로관련행동, 진로자기효능감 간의 인과적 구조모형은 변인 간의 구조적 관계를 예측하는 데에 적합하였다. 둘째, 인과적 구조모형 내에서 전환기 초등학생의 진로자기효능감은 진로발달에 직접적으로 정적인 영향을 미침이 확인되었지만, 부모진로관련행동은 직접적으로 정적인 영향을 미치지 않음이 확인되었다. 셋째, 인과적 구조모형 내에서 전환기 초등학생이 인식하는 부모진로관련행동은 진로자기효능감을 매개로 진로발달에 간접적으로 정적인 영향을 미침이 확인되어 완전매개함을 보여주었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 후속연구에 대한 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로발달에 영향을 주는 변인을 심층적으로 분석하여 다양한 변인들 간의 관계를 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 둘째, 전환기 초등학생의 진로발달에 영향을 미치는 변인에 대한 성별에 따른 차이를 살펴보아야하며, 부모진로행동과 관련하여 아버지의 행동과 어머니의 행동을 나누어볼 필요가 있다. 셋째, 전환기 초등학생에게 적합한 진로발달과 진로자기효능감의 측정도구들이 필요하다. 넷째, 전환기 초등학생의 진로발달과 관련한 변인에 대한 연구를 위하여 이 연구에서는 양적연구만을 실시하였으나 후속 연구에서는 질적 연구와 병행하여 진행하는 것이 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to clarify the causal correlation among the parental career-related behavior, career self-efficacy and career development of elementary students in transition period. For this purpose, this study first developed a causal model involving the parental career-related behavior, career self-efficacy and career development of elementary students in transition period. It discussed the direct effect of parental career-related behavior on career development of elementary students in transition period. It discussed the indirect effect of parental career-related behavior on career development of elementary students in transition period. The following conclusion was derived according to the major outcomes of the study. First, the causal structural model among the career development, parental career-related behavior, and career self-efficacy of elementary students in the transition period was fit for predicting structural relations among the variables. Second, their career self-efficacy had direct positive effects on their career development in the causal structural model, but their parental career-related behavior had no direct positive effects on it. Third, parental career-related behavior perceived by elementary students in the transition period had indirect positive effects on their career development via career self-efficacy in the causal structural model, which means that career self-efficacy had full mediating effects between them. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested as follows. First, there is a need to conduct in-depth analysis of variables influencing career development and examine relations among various variables. Second, it is necessary to examine differences in variables affecting the career development of elementary students in the transition period according to gender and divide parental career behavior into father's and mother's career behavior. Third, there is a need for instruments to measure career development and career self-efficacy fit for elementary students in the transition period. Fourth, follow-up study will benefit from qualitative research as well as quantitative research since the present study did only quantitative research on variables related to the career development of elementary students in the transition period.
