이 연구는 초등학생의 온라인 언어 사용을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고, 초등학생에게 적용할 온라인 대화 예절교육 프로그램을 개발하여 그 프로그램이 초등학생의 온라인 언어 사용에 미치는 영향을 구명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 실험연구이며, 온라인 대화, 온라인 언어사용, 온라인 대화 예절교육 프로그램에 관한 문헌을 탐색하였고, 이를 토대로 온라인 대화 예절교육 프로그램을 개발하여 그 효과를 검증하였다. 연구 대상으로 김포시 지역의 Y초등학교 6학년 2개 반을 선정하여 실험반과 연구반 두 집단으로 구분하였다. 두 집단 간 동질성 검증을 위한 사전검사 결과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 실험집단에는 2007년 4월부터 5월까지 약 2개월 동안 10차시에 걸쳐 온라인 대화 예절교육 프로그램을 적용하였고, 비교집단에는 정규 교과의 온라인 대화예절과 관련한 내용의 학습이 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSSWIN을 이용하여 분석하였다. 실험 결과 5% 수준에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나, 온라인 대화 예절교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 온라인 언어 사용에 긍정적인 효과를 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to clarify the influence of the online conversation courtesy program on the language usage of the primary school student through developing the device which can measure the primary school students' language usage. We had adapted the experimental study. We had searched the online conversation, usage of online language, and tried to search some literatures on the online conversation courtesy program after setting up our purpose in this study. We had also developed the online conversation courtesy program and verified the effect of that program. The objects of this study were 2 class members of Y primary school student in Gimpo, and We divided them into two group: one was for experiment, and the other was for comparison. Of course, We'd made the pretest for checking out their identities, which resulted in no meaningful difference. We'd applied the online conversation courtesy program to the experimental group for 10 class hours from April to May in 2007. This program hadn't applied to the comparison group. Instead, The comparison group had studied the online conversation courtesy in the regular class. The gathered data had been analyzed using the SPSSWIN. As the result of this experiment, the experimental group showed the meaningful difference at 5% level statistically, so we could know that the online conversation courtesy program have had a positive effect on online language usage of primary school students.
