<상춘곡(賞春曲)>의 결어(結語) 재해석과 시가사적 위치

Abstract

This study questions previous studies on ending words in “Sangchungok” of the original copy and reanalyzes those words, therefore revalues its meaning in the poetry. From the original piece of “Sangchungok”, the ending words are 'Amotabakyoenhanglakeui manhandeulerzzihalr'. This can be unfolded by four units and 3.4.5.4 in alphabet numbers into 'A-mo-ta(3) / bak-yoen hang-lak(4) / eu-i man-han-deul (5) / erz-zi-ha-li(4)/'. Its interpreted version in modern words is 'I have done things whoever could do! (or I have done very trivial things) I have lived enjoying small things through my whole life (or the rest of this old man's life), although there are many things (providing entertainment), what I would do! (I do not need them and I can not take them too). Regarding the theory of Sijo(時調) development from origin of Gasa(歌辭) and the theory Sangchungok's formal Gasa completion, this study questions those theories based on the fact that the second unit of Sangchungok's ending words is delivered as the standard unit rather than the over loaded unit. In addition, the existed argument about the world presented in “Sangchungok” that it is full of recognition of Anbinnakdo (comfortable life; 安貧樂道) can be challenged as it can lead to the conclusion that the ending words, which contain the main topic of the whole poetry, indicate the writer's retirement from the world due to reality awareness. Furthermore, comparing with (Gangho) Gasasa, the world in the “Sangchungok” is more assemble to poetries in 17th and 18th centuries. From the analysis of the form of ending words and the world in “Sangchungok”, this poetry seems not much related with the Gasa works in the beginning of Chosun, but rather close to the (Gangho)　Gasasa in 17th and 18th centuries. Therefore, current “Sangchungok” might be an altered form, rather than the original one written by Jeong Geuk-in, while it had been rewritten and carved during transmission process to the present.
