이 연구는 지적장애 초등학생에게 요구되는 진로 역량을 도출하고, 델파이 방법을 적용하여 개발한 역량의 타당성을 검증하는 데 목적이 있었다. 이 목적을 위하여 관련 선행연구 및 문헌을 분석하고 종합하여 지적장애 초등학생의 진로 역량 초안을 구성하였고, 전문가 협의를 거쳐 지적장애 초등학생의 진로 역량을 개발하였다. 그리고 개발한 역량의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 교육전문직 및 연구원, 특수학교 교감 및 교사, 특수학급 교사로 구성된 전문가 패널을 대상으로 2차에 걸친 델파이 조사를 실시하였고, 수정 및 보완을 거쳐 타당성을 확보하여 지적장애 초등학생의 진로 역량을 최종적으로 확정하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 연구에서 도출된 지적장애 초등학생의 진로 역량은 비장애 초등학생을 대상으로 하는 진로 역량 관련 연구에 비교하여 볼 때 기초직업능력을 포함하고 있다. 둘째, 이 연구에서 도출된 지적장애 초등학생의 진로 역량은 지적장애 학생의 진로 역량 관련 선행연구 및 문헌과 비교하여 볼 때 구체적인 직업적 능력은 포함하고 있지 않다. 셋째, 이 연구는 우리나라 초등학생에 재학 중인 장애 학생을 대상으로 하는 진로 역량 관련 연구가 부족한 실정에서, 지적장애 초등학생에게 필요한 진로 역량을 도출하였다. 넷째, 이 연구는 전체 특수교육 대상자 중에서 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있는 지적장애 학생에게 필요한 진로 역량을 도출하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to deduct and valid career competencies required for elementary students with intellectual disabilities by using literature research and the delphi method. To achieve the purpose, previous studies and literature related to career competencies for elementary school students with intellectual disabilities were explored and subsequently synthesized and analyzed. Career competencies for elementary school students with intellectual disabilities was developed by literature research method and expert conference. A delphi study was conducted twice for expert panels so as to verify the validity of capabilities. Expert panels consisted of educational professionals and researchers, teachers and a vice-principal of a special-education school, and teachers of special education classes. First, career competencies for elementary students with intellectual disabilities derived from this research included key competencies. Second, Career competencies for elementary students with intellectual disabilities derived from this research not included the ability to specific job. Third, in addition to the lack of research of career in the elementary students with intellectual disabilities, this study was to deduct career competencies for elementary students with intellectual disabilities, Forth, this research was to deduct career competencies in required for elementary students with intellectual disabilities rates are especially high among special needs student
