Naide-Kudasaimasu in a female speaker and a male listener, 3. Naide-Kudasaimasu in a female speaker and listener, 4. Naide-Kudasaimasu in a female speaker and unidentified listener, targeting Naide-Kudasaimasu that is not in the present. The results are followed. First, in establishing requisite of Naide-Kudasaimasu, the speech acceptability is low as a natural locution in intimate relationship while the listener is an honorific higher seniority, equal or higher seniority, because Naide-Kudasaimasu has low degree of respect and gives light impression to the listener. However, in estranged or unidentified relationship, Naide-Kudasaimasu is accepted regardless of the hierarchical relationship of the speaker and the listener. Also, to examine the value of expression Naide-Kudasaimasu realizes, Naide-Kudasaimasu in contextual․situational condition while the speaker’s interpersonal relationship, which is the degree of intimacy, is defined as intimate relationship, the solicitude of the speaker is amplified while politeness is reduced since it carries the nuance of low respect. In addition, Naide-Kudasaimasu in condition of the degree of intimacy is defined as estranged relationship, the politeness is comparatively weakened since the unpleasantness of the speaker is shown and having a distance between the listener. Moreover, Naide-Kudasaimasu in undefined relationship, the politeness is comparatively weakened and [friendliness] is shown since it implicates the nuance of [apathetic][indifference]. Generally, polite expressions in honorific language such as Naide-Kudasaimasu that is used by the honorific lower person toward the higher person, is also used when the listener is regarded as an honorific equal or lower seniority. This arise from the intention to maintain․continue the authority․dignity․reputation of the speaker by having a distance between the listener. Thus, this is the case in point representing the peculiarity of request expression as an honorific language.

Abstract

This paper examined the practical availability under linguistic․situational․contextual condition and what kind of value of expression it realizes in each case, in the order of 2.
