생태주의적 음악교육의 방향 설정 모색: 2007 개정 교육과정과 2009 개정 교육과정을 중심으로

모더니즘과 과학기술의 발달로 인한 현대문명의 눈부신 발전은 인간에게 풍요롭고 편리한 삶을 가져다주고 현대인의 삶과 가치관에 깊숙이 뿌리 내렸지만, 생태계의 존재 자체를 위협하게 되는 결과를 낳았다. 이로써 ‘지속 가능한’ 사회 체제를 만들기 위한 생명 중심의 가치관, 세계관으로의 사상적 대전환을 이루어야 한다는 당위성이 제기되었다. 생태 담론들은 자연과 인간 뿐 아니라 사회제도, 여성, 교육 등 인간을 둘러싼 모든 환경에 대해 생태적 관점에서 논의하고 있으며 실천이 따라야 함을 주장하고 있다. 생태적 위기상황은 생태적 사회로의 대전환을 이루고자 하는 패러다임의 변화를 가져왔다. 위기는 새로운 기회이기도 한 것이다. 2007 개정 교육과정과 2009 개정 교육과정으로 인해 학교교육이 기초과목 몰입교육이 되어가고 음악교육을 비롯한 체육, 예술과목의 위상이 크게 하락한 것이 사실이지만, 역설적으로 2007 개정 교육과정과 2009 개정 교육과정의 “교육과정 자율화”, “집중 이수제”, 그리고 음악과 교육내용 영역 중 “생활화” 영역 등은 학교교육에서 음악교육의 위상을 높이고 음악교육을 확대할 수 있는 기회이기도 하다. 생태적 교육의 관점에서 살펴볼 때 2007 개정 교육과정과 2009 개정 교육과정의 주요 내용은 오히려 음악교육에 새로운 지평을 여는 계기가 될 수 있다.
Abstract
Modernism and the development of science technology cause brilliant modern development and bring human beings the convenient life and have a deep root in the life value of a contemporary person. But they result in a threat to the ecology itself. The opinion should be raised that we should turn into the world view and the value which emphases life to make the social system possible to continue. The discussion of ecology suggests that based on the ecological viewpoint we should discuss and practice the environment surrounding not only nature and human beings but social system, feminine and education. The ecological threat caused the change in paradigm which tries to turn into ecological society. Threat means a new chance. Owing to both the revised 2007 curriculum and the revise 2009 curriculum the school education focuses on element subject but the status of music education including physical subject and art one fell greatly. Paradoxically the liberalization of curriculum and the intensive course completion system in both the 2007 revised curriculum and the 2009 revised curriculum and the field of making the music the way of life in music curriculum are the chance to raise the status of musical education in school education and extend the musical education. In the point of view of ecological education the major content of both the revised 2007 curriculum and the revise 2009 curriculum can rather give us a chance to open a new prospect in the field of music education.
