The Purpose of this study is to examine the effects of dance activity participation of the low-income, socioeconomically disadvantaged children. The dance class is regarded as an essential course to maximize the students' creativities and esthetics appreciation. The examination is accomplished through the surveys and the interviews of the five students at S elementary school in Gwangju. The results indicates that there are signigicant positive physical, emotional and social effects. And, these effects enhances the sense of self-efficacy of the low-income, socioeconomically disadvantaged children.
