무용연구에 있어서 Somatic 관점의 적용에 관한 연구

Abstract

The research has a purpose on presenting application of effective Somatic point of view in dance research by analyzing application range and instances of Somatic point of view. Somatic point of view is applied actively in the range of dance composition, education, dance treatment. Somatic point of view can be scholar methodology observing physics and mind as unitary. Therefore, Somatic view point in dance research is one of the necessity to consider in the research of essential characteristics of dance art where medium is human body. Through this research purpose, the research analyzes following examples of dance research. Current directions of dance research are research on impromptu amusement, borrowing of Somatic point of view in dance education, and in the development of dance treatment. Hereupon the research suggests the direction of Somatic point of view. First, Somatic point of view in the physics and mind as unitary is not a simple substitution but a precise pre-understanding toward identity of dance art so that qualitative range of analysis can be induced. Second, dance research in the somatic point of view needs to be developed toward the direction of developing scientific measure which can analyze the relationship between physical movement and mind. Third, application of Somatic point of view needs to be expanded and applied to dance interpretation and dance philosophy other than field applied actually. Humanity point of view has been the mainstream in the research on existing dance interpretation and philosophy but more objective and scientific methodology of dance interpretation applying Somatic point of view can be possible when considering dance art where nature of body movement.
