The purpose of this study is to provide the basic materials needed in the management of dance majors in the university by clarifying the relationship between the self-expression behavior and professional attitude of dance majors in the university and self-development volition. The respondents of this study are dance majors in the four-year university, 408students were used in the final analysis. The statistic methods for confirming hypothesis of factor analysis (CFA: Confirmatory Factor Analysis) and analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM: Structural Equation Model) were carried out by using AMOS7.0. The results are as follows. Firstly, The factors of self-expression behavior of dance majors in the university : active expression behavior, ethical expression behavior and altruistic expression behavior influenced positive (+) effect on the professional attitude of dance majors. In contrast, passive expressive behavior influenced negative(-) effect on the expert attitude. Secondly, The factors of self-expression behavior of dance majors : active expression behavior and altruistic expression behavior influenced positive (+) effect on the self-development of dance majors. In contrast, the forthright expression behavior influenced negative(-) effect on the self-development effort. Thirdly, the professional attitude of dance majors influenced positive(+) effect on the self-development effort.
