Abstract
This study investigates the effect of perfectionism on dance stress and engage ment among college students majoring in practical dance. The study involves 207 students majoring in practical dance from universities in Seoul, and data were col lected using a questionnaire. A data analysis was conducted using the SPSS/Win dows 18.0 program, employing a multiple regression analysis. Parental pressure, concern regarding mistakes, doubt about actions, and coach pressure positively affect dance stress, whereas physical condition management negatively affect dance stress. Furthermore, doubt about actions and coach pressure negatively af fect dance engagement, while personal standards and physical condition manage ment positively affect dance engagement.
