1930년대 후반부터 전시체제 하에 있는 기행문의 성격은 前史와는 다른 재현의 양상을 보이기 시작한다. 따라서 이 연구는 재현의 양상을 통해 일제말기(1938~1945년대) 식민지 지식인의 여행 체험과 戰地로서의 국외 여행지에 대한 記述이 어떻게 정치적 심미화의 재현 과정을 거쳐 이데올로기를 형성하는가를 살펴보려 한다. 일반적인 기행문에 대한 이해는 한 대상을 지시하는 어떤 단어와 문장이 현실성을 확보하고, 그것이 현실 그 자체라고 인정하게 된다. 그런데 이와 같은 기행문 재현의 일반적 이해가 이데올로기 동원의 수사가 될 수 있다. 특히나 戰地의 긴장감과 전투상황을 ‘생생하게’ 전달해야 하는 ‘보고문학’으로서의 기행문학에 있어 현실감은 하나의 전략이 될 수 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 일제 말기 전선 기행문에 나타난 재현의 세 가지 양상을 경이, 전형, 과학과 감수성의 차원에서 살펴보았다.
Abstract
The latter half of 1930 take on a new aspect of representation on the travelogue. Because at that time enter into a state of war, a character of travelogue have a war aura. Thus this study make researches in ideology and aesthetics of politics of representation on the war front travelogue. This study is possible through an aspect of representation by colonial traveler. Generally, we are compelled to recognize the trust that travelogue's representation become reality. But apprehension of this kind on representation of travelogue cannot help becoming rhetoric of mobilization of ideology. Specially, the war front travel become a strategy by reality because it is reportage. therefore, this study is inquired politics of representation on the war front travelogue of the latter Japanese through aspects of wonder, stereotype, science and sensibility.
