대학생의 셀프리더십, 자아개념, 진로정체감, 진로성숙도 간의 구조적 관계 분석

초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 셀프리더십, 자아개념, 진로정체감, 진로성숙도 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하는 것이었다. 이를 위하여 3개 대학을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 747부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 본 연구의 연구모델을 통계적으로 검정하기 위한 주된 분석방법으로는 구조방정식이 활용되었다. 통계분석 결과 다음의 연구결과가 도출되었다. 첫째, 셀프리더십과 자아개념은 진로정체감에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 셀프리더십과 진로정체감이 진로성숙도에 미치는 효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났지만, 자아개념이 진로성숙도에 미치는 효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 셀프리더십은 진로성숙도에 가장 영향력 있는 변인임이 본 연구를 통해 입증되었으며, 경로분석에서 매개변인의 역할을 했던 진로정체감은 진로성숙도에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 진로 관련 변인에 대한 연구는 개인의 심리적 측면과 사회적 측면의 맥락이 모두 고려되어야 한다는 점, 진로와 관련된 다양한 이슈를 이해하는 분석적 도구로 셀프리더십이 연구되고 적용되어야 한다는 점, 그리고 자아개념에 대한 다면적 속성이 반영된 진로 관련 후속 연구가 지속되어야 한다는 시사점이 도출되었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationships between college students' self-leadership, self-concept, career identity, and career maturity. The sample(N=747) was drawn from 3 universities and the collected data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. Findings from SEM demonstrated the existence of a positive relationship of self-leadership and career identity with career maturity. In particular, self leadership had the most influential effect on career maturity. And career identity was found to be a significant mediating variable and also affected career maturity directly. Although self-concept was not statistically significant in this study, self-concept was still found to be a significant predictor for career identity. An important finding in this structural analysis is the effect of self leadership. Results demonstrated the necessity for the analysis of self-concept in various aspects, the understanding and application of self-leadership in the career field, and the importance of examining career-related variables such as career identity, career maturity and career decision making efficacy in the context of individual and environmental aspects.
