본 연구는 연역적 탐구를 통해 중국무술의 미래발전 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 1950년대 이후 중국체육운동위원회의 설립을 통하여 경기무술이 태생되었고, 경기무술은 기술형태의 독특함과 다양한 기술동작들에 의해 현재는 중국 전통무술 중 가장 두각을 나타내는 부분으로 성장해 왔으며, 경기무술은 서양 체육학과의 결합으로 인해 새로운 문화형태로 발전해 왔다. 무술문화의 특징은 언제나 바뀔 수 있고 변화하게 된다. 왜냐하면 무술의 기술적 향상과 대중화는 각각의 기능과 가치가 다르게 나타나기 때문이다. 무술발전의 원동력이 될 수 있는 것은 무술의 보급의 초점이 관중으로 회귀하는 것이다. 그러기 위해서는 무술에 대한 관념이 바뀌어야 하며, 전문 지도자 양성을 위해 전통성을 유지하고 과학적 연구에 노력을 기울여야 한다. 이상적인 미래의 무술은 자연과의 조화를 이룬 '도'를 닦는 무술, 교류하고 토론할 수 있는 지식체계를 갖춘 무술, 마지막으로 예술적 가치를 내포한 무술로 발전되어져야 할 것이다. 동시에 중국무술이 스포츠적, 문화적, 대중적, 교육적이고, 질병예방과 건강생활에 적용되도록 해야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to suggest future development of Chinese Wushu by deductive method. Since 1950s, Wushu competitions were held by Chinese Sports Committee, and has been grown most rapidly by characterized techniques and moves among many other traditional Chinese Martial-arts. Whushu has been developed as a newly emerged culture with application of western sport science. One characteristic about martial-art culture is that ongoing changing because its function and value are different for technical development and popularization. A key for the Wushu development is to regress the promotion point to the spectators. In order to do that the perception of Wushu need to be changed, maintain traditional contents, and apply science to train future instructors and leaders. The ideal future Wushu that the investigator suggested were harmonization with nature for 'DO', systemized knowledge for exchange and discussion, and artistic value.
