한국 합기도의 역사성 및 정체성 확보, 합기도기술의 체계화, 통합된 경기규정의 마련 등 합기도계에 산재해 있는 문제들과 합기도관련 연구가 미흡한 실정이어서 학문적 정립과 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구는 한국에서 통일된 경기규정 없이 합기도 협회 및 단체들마다 체계화되지 않고 일관성 없이 경기가 시행되고 있는 현 실정을 개탄하여, 우선적으로는 대표성을 가진 합기도 단체들의 경기규정을 검토하고 중점적으로는 합기도단체의 단체장 및 실무자들과의 심층면담을 실시하여 현재 한국 합기도 경기의 문제점을 찾아내고자 하였다. 또한 그에 따른 해결 방안을 논의하고 합기도 단체 간의 공통적인 경기규정을 분석하여 추출하는 등 한국 합기도 경기규정의 통일화 및 개정방안을 모색하고자 하는데 연구의 목적을 두고 있다. 이 연구에서 심층면담은 연구대상 합기도단체의 대표 및 핵심실무자와 합기도 경기규정과 관련한 면담을 실시하였다. 면담대상자는 경찰청인정 12개 단체 중 가장 규모가 큰 4개 단체, 경기만을 시행하고 있는 2개 단체, 그리고 45개 법인 단체의 통합단체(대표성을 가진) 1개 단체로 총 7개 단체의 대표자 및 실무자로 선정하였다. 면담의 주요 질문 내용은 합기도 경기의 문제점과 발전방안, 합기도 경기의 세부운영, 그리고 합기도 경기규정에 관한 내용들이었다. 합기도 경기의 발전방안으로는 용어의 통일화, 통합된 경기규정의 마련, 합기도기술의 특수성이 담긴 경기규정화가 요구된다. 합기도 경기의 세부운영측면에서는 경기장의 규격화와 도복 통일, 통일된 운영 규정의 마련이 필요하다. 마지막으로 합기도 경기규정은 심판구성과 용어의 통일, 벌칙의 구분과 기준, 연무경기와 대련경기의 조화 등이 필요하다.
Abstract
Academic theories need to be established for Hapkido, considering that little researches have been conducted on Hapkido in areas including the historic establishment of Hapkido, establishment of the identity of Hapkido and integrated rule of Hapkido, etc. This study tried to uncover the existing problems with Hapkido competitions by analyzing the play regulations of representative Hapkido organizations and by interviewing staff involved in Hapkido competitions that were conducted without unified play regulations. Moreover, this study also tries to find a way to improve Korean Hapkido competitions. Interviews were conducted with representatives and staff of seven research organizations; four major organizations among the 12 organizations approved by the National Police Agency, two organizations that are holding advanced Hapkido competitions, and one representative organization of 45 related incorporated groups. They were mainly asked about the problems with and the development plan for Hapkido competitions, the details of the operation of Hapkido competitions, and the Hapkido play regulations. To improve Hapkido match, they demand for standardizing the terminology of Hapkido, preparing for combined rules, providing regulation of Hapkido match including distinction of Hapkido skill. In term of detailed manage of Hapkido match, we need to establish unified uniforms, arenas, operating regulations. Finally, regulations of Hapkido match need standardization of terminology and organized judge, standard and division of penalty, and harmony of sparring and form.
