At this juncture, it wouId be meaningful to reflect on the past and present of Korean early childhood education while envisioning its future directions through the lens of decolonial research and practice. In this article, first, I discuss the definitions of decolonial research and practice and their key arguments and examples. Next, I explore implications for Korean early childhood education. Finally, I conclude with some key takeaways.
