문제중심학습을 적용한 대학 창작무용수업모형 개발과 효과 검증

초록

본 연구의 목적은 문제중심학습 이론을 적용한 무용창작수업 모델을 개발하여 그 이론적, 실천적 적용 가능성을 탐색하고, 문제중심학습 이론에 근거한 무용창작수업 모델이 무용과 대학생들의 문제해결능력, 비판적 사고성향, 의사소통기술 및 대인관계기술에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 무용과 대학생 64명이 실험집단(남학생 3명, 여학생 29명)과 통제집단(남학생 2명, 여학생 30명)에 참여하여 12주간 실험에 참여하였다. 자료는 반복측정 분산분석과 대응표본 t-검증을 통해 분석되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다: (1)문제중심학습이론을 적용한 실험집단과 통제집단 모두 일부 의사소통기술 향상에 효과가 있다. 실험집단은 15개의 의사소통기술 하위요인 중의 공감, 지지, 표현력, 조리성, 그리고 잡음통제력에서 시간의 경과에 따라 향상되는 경향을 보였으며, 통제집단은 지지 요인에서만 증가하는 효과를 나타냈다. (2)문제중심학습 수업모형은 비판적 사고성향의 편견없음과 체계성 수준의 향상에 효과가 있다. (3)문제중심학습 수업모형은 문제해결능력의 개인적 통제 수준 향상에 효과가 있다. (4)문제중심학습 수업모형은 대인관계능력의 만족감과 신뢰감 변화에 긍정적인 효과가 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of an instructional model for university dance composition course, which was developed using problem-based learning, on students' interpersonal communication skills, critical thinking disposition, problem solving ability, and interpersonal relationship ability. 64 dance students participated in experimental group (3 males, 29 females) and control group (2 males, 30 females) for 12 weeks. Statistical tools were two-way repeated MANOVA and paired sample t-test. The results of the study were as follows; First, both experimental group and control group showed that their communication skills were increased significantly. Experimental group was significantly increased in the level of empathy, supportiveness, expressiveness, efficiency, and noise control whereas control group was increased only in the level of supportiveness. Second, compared with control group, experimental group showed significantly greater improvement in systematicity and open-mindness. Third, experimental group was increased significantly in the level of personal control among problem solving abilities. Fourth, experimental group was on the increase in satisfaction and trust among interpersonal relationship abilities.
