21세기의 교육은 전문화에만 집중했던 과거와 달리 통합적 형태로 변화되고 있다. 따라서 예술교육 분야도 타 분야와의 연계-통합의 형태로 다양화되고 있는 것이 세계적인 추세이다. 예술교육의 중요성은 다른 교과에서는 다루기 어려운 인간의 감성에 주력할 수 있다는 것, 그리고 창의력으로 대변되는 인간의 독특한 생각도구를 극대화시킬 수 있다는 점에 근거를 둔다. 따라서 예술교육은 자아가 형성되는 시기인 유소년 기에 가장 유효하다는 것이 일반적인 생각이다. 본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 미술과 문학을 연계한 알투스 통합예술교육과정을 소개하고 자신의 내면이 투영된 창작활동이 학습자의 동기화 신장에 미치는 영향과 가능성을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 또한 예술적 소양과 근본원리를 인지한 예술가가 예술교육의 교사로서 학습자에게 미치는 긍정적 효과를 바탕으로 예술가의 활용방안에 대한 가능성을 논의하였다.
Abstract
The education in the 21st century is changing into an integrated one unlike the past where we only focused on the professionalization. Therefore, the arts education area is also being diversified worldwide through an integration and connection to other areas. The importance of the arts education lies in that it is able to focus on the sentiments of humans that are not easily dealt with in the other subjects and also it can maximize the unique thinking tools that are shown in the creativity. Therefore, the arts education is generally thought to be most effective during the teenage years where the self-identity starts to form. This study introduces the Altus integrated arts that connects the art and literature in the elementary school students and aims to elucidate the effects and the possibility of the creative activities reflecting the inner self on the growth of the motivation of the students. Also, based on the positive effects on the students the artists with artistic knowledge and fundamental philosophy as an arts educator, it discusses the possibility of the utilization of the artists.
