대학 신입생 진로결정수준과 학업적 자기효능감에 따른 군집유형과 지각된 진로장벽의 군집유형별 차이

초록

본 연구는 대학 신입생 대상으로 진로결정수준과 학업적 자기효능감에 따른 군집에 대해 알아보고, 군집유형별로 지각된 진로장벽의 차이를 파악하였다. 대학 신입생 288명의 진로결정수준, 학업적 자기효능감, 진로장벽에 대해 설문을 하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 군집분석 결과 4개의 군집으로 분류되었다. 군집A는 ‘진로결정 우위집단’으로, 군집B는 ‘학업효능감 취약집단’, 군집C는 ‘진로결정 취약집단’, 군집D는 ‘진로결정-학업효능감 우위집단’으로 명명하였다. 둘째, 군집 간의 지각된 진로장벽에는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 진로장벽을 가장 높게 지각하는 집단은 군집C(진로결정 취약집단), 다음으로 군집B (학업효능감 취약집단), 군집A(진로결정 우위집단)와 군집D(진로결정-학업효능감 우위집단)의 순서로 나타났다. 셋째, 군집유형에 따라 진로장벽 하위요인인 외적 장애, 우유부단, 직업정보부족, 자기명확성부족, 필요성인식부족에서도 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 신입생의 진로상담과 지도를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

This study was to identify the clusters according to the level of career decision and academic self-efficacy of college freshmen, and find differences in perceived career barriers by the cluster types. A set of questionnaires on career decision level, academic self-efficacy, and career barrier were administered to 288 college freshmen. The research results can be summarized as follows. Cluster A was named ‘Career Decision Advantage Group', Group B was ‘Academic Efficacy Weak Group', Cluster C was ‘Career Decision Weak Group’, and Cluster D was ‘Career Decision- Academic Efficacy Advantage Group’. Second, there were differences in perceived career barriers among clusters. Higher perception of the career barriers appeared in the order of in cluster C, followed by cluster B, and then cluster A and cluster D. Third, it was confirmed that there were differences in the sub-factors of career barriers according to the cluster type: External disability, Indecision, Lack of job information, Lack of self-clarity, and Lack of awareness of necessity. These results can be used as basic data for career counseling and guidance for freshmen.
