본 논문은 청소년이 지각한 대인관계가 자율적 행동조절에 미치는 영향에서 삶의 의미추구의 조절 효과를 알아보는 데에 연구의 필요성과 목적과 필요성이 있다. 연구대상은 중고등학교에 재학 중인 남녀학생 237명이었다. 연구도구는 대인관계문제, 삶의 의미추구 및 자율적 행동조절의 표준화된 설문지를 사용하였고, 자료처리는 이원변량분석, 상관분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 주요 결론은 첫째, 청소년이 삶의 의미를 가질 때 대인관계에서 긍정 정서를 더 많이 영향을 미치고 청소년의 자율적 행동을 조절하는데 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 자율적 행동을 조절하는 동기 요인을 높이기 위해서는 반드시 삶의 의미가 필요하며 삶의 의미를 추구하기 위해서는 대인관계의 동기적 요소가 필요하다고 본다. 셋째, 청소년이 지각한 대인관계와 삶에 대한 의미추구의 상호작용이 자율적 행동조절에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 이러한 결과를 토대로 사람은 목적론적인 존재로 모든 행동은 목적이 있게 된다는 것이다. 본 연구의 시사점은 청소년의 대인관계 개선과 삶에 대한 의미추구를 통하여 청소년들의 자율적 행동조절이 모색되어 생활지도나 상담 등에 활용되고 청소년들의 삶에 소중한 정보를 제공했다는데 연구의 의의와 시사점이 있다고 하겠다.
Abstract
This paper investigates the moderating effect of the search for meaning in life on the influence of adolescents' perceived interpersonal relationships on autonomous behavioral regulation. The necessity and purpose of this study lie in elucidating this relationship. The participants comprised 237 male and female students enrolled in middle and high schools. The research tool used a standardized questionnaire of interpersonal relationship problems, pursuit of meaning in life, and autonomous behavioral control. Data analysis involved two-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The key findings are as follows: First, adolescents who perceive a greater sense of meaning in life experience more positive emotions in their interpersonal relationships, which, in turn, influences their autonomous behavioral regulation. Second, the presence of meaning in life is essential for enhancing motivational factors that regulate autonomous behavior, and conversely, motivational elements within interpersonal relationships are deemed necessary for pursuing meaning in life. Third, the interaction between adolescents' perceived interpersonal relationships and their search for meaning in life significantly impacts autonomous behavioral regulation. Based on these results, it is suggested that humans are teleological beings, wherein all actions are goal-oriented. The implications of this study are significant in that it explores the potential for improving adolescents' autonomous behavioral regulation through the improvement of their interpersonal relationships and the pursuit of meaning in life.
