Abstract

The development of digital technology has been applied to all areas of people's lives, and films have gained success after success by virtue of this vehicle of digital technology. The development of film is the continuous intermingling of technology and art. Film restores real life situations with vivid images. However, it is not an unchanged representation of the events that happened in real life. Many times because people want to escape from the real world, from the world shown in the film to get satisfaction, although the audience knows that the film is only an art, but still can identify with the virtual space and time in the audience, the audience will be easy to watch the "immersive" or even "empathy "This is the so-called film immersion, which is the charm of film authenticity. However, the most intuitive feeling of many viewers after watching CGI films is that, besides praising the coolness, they do not have much impression of the film itself, and even forget it completely in a short time. -Therefore, this paper starts from the authenticity of CGI film scenes, combining Carl Plantinga's theory of "perception" and highlights the key factors to improve the authenticity of CGI films. By shaping the character design, narrative plot and actors' emotional performances, the film stimulates the audience's cognitive and emotional resonance, thus deepening the immersion in the film. Understanding the audience's cognitive and unconscious processes enables filmmakers to better meet audience expectations, provide a more authentic and engaging cinematic experience, enable audiences to better understand the meaning of the film, and illustrate how the audience's cognitive unconsciousness is created in terms of the film's characters, narratives, and characters' emotions, as well as the solutions to these three elements that deepen the audience's immersion in the viewing of the film. On the basis of this analysis, this paper will conduct a case study of James Cameron's Avatar 2, exploring how the authenticity of the film scenes enhances the audience's cognitive unconsciousness of the characters, the narrative and the emotions of the characters, thus deepening their immersion in the film through documentary analysis.
