본 연구의 목적은 중학생들의 불안정애착이 인터넷 중독성향에 미치는 영향중에서 기본심리욕구만족의 매개 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기지역의남녀중학생 480명을 대상으로 불안정애착, 기본심리욕구만족, 인터넷중독성향에 대한 설문 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구의 결과는, 첫째, 불안정애착의 두 차원인애착불안과 애착회피는 인터넷중독성향과는 정적으로, 기본심리욕구만족과는 부적으로 유의한 상관을 보였으며, 기본심리욕구만족은인터넷중독성향과부적상관을나타내었다. 둘째, 불안정애착이 기본심리욕구를통해인터넷중독성향에영향을미치는간접효과를확인하였으며셋째, 애착불안, 애착회피와 인터넷중독성향의관계에서기본심리욕구중자율성의매개효과를확인하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 본연구의의의는중학생의기본심리욕구중자율성이낮은경우, 인터넷중독성향이 높아졌는데, 이것은 불안정애착 중학생의 인터넷 중독성향을 낮추는 데 있어서 자율성을 활용한 개입의성공가능성을의미하는부분이라하겠다. 그리고이를바탕으로후속연구에대한제언과시사점을논하였다
Abstract
This study investigated the relationship among insecure attachment, basic psychological needs satisfaction, and internet addiction tendency of middle school students. This study verified the mediating roles of basic psychological needs satisfaction in the relationship between insecure attachment and internet addiction tendency. The first result is that anxious attachment and avoidant attachment have demonstrated a positive relationship with internet addiction tendency, and the basic psychological need satisfaction has shown a negative correlation with the internet addiction tendency. Second, insecure attachment does not have a direct effect on internet addiction tendency but has an indirect effect on it through basic psychological need as a mediator variable. Third, the mediating effect of autonomy among basic psychological needs was identified in the relationship between anxious attachment, avoidant attachment, and internet addiction tendency. The results indicated that when autonomy among basic psychological needs was lower, the middle school students with insecure attachment in this study showed higher tendency of internet addiction. Based on these results, the implication, limitations, and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
