본 연구는 유아교사의 음악극 인식에서 조사된 요구를 기초하여 현장에서 용이하게 접근할 수 있는 유아의 음악극 프로그램을 개발하는데 주 목적을 두었다. 프로그램의 개발을 통해 교사가 음악극에 대한 부정적인 인식에서 벗어나 음악극에 쉽게 접근함으로서 유아들이 창의적인 탐색과 표현이 자유로운 음악극 활동을 자주 경험할 수 있음을 전제로 한다. 본 연구를 위해 인천과 경 기지역에서 근무 중인 국공립 유치원 교사 23명을 선정하여 2019년 9월에 음악극 활동에 대한 교사인터뷰 및 저널 작성하였고 이를 분석하였다. 유아교사들은 음악극의 중요성에 대한 인식은 가지고 있으나 음악극에 대한 교사의 부정적 편견, 교사의 음악적 능력 및 전문지식 부족, 음악 극 경험 및 음악극관련 프로그램의 부재, 기존 복잡하고 어려운 접근 방식의 음악극 프로그램으 로 인한 적용의 어려움 등 인적, 물적 요인이 음악극의 실행을 방해한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같 은 교사의 인식조사를 기초하여 전문가협의, 예비연구를 거쳐 6개의 그림책을 선정후 테마 노래 를 활용하여 복잡했던 음악극 진행과정을 단순화할 수 있는 12차시 음악극 프로그램 최종안을 구 성하였다. 본 연구를 통해 유아들의 창의적인 음악극 놀이가 현장에서 꽃피워질 수 있기를 기대 해 본다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop children’s musical drama program using theme songs. The study was conducted under the premise that young children’s creative exploration and expression can naturally occur through frequent experience of musical drama programs through development of a program, which will allow teachers to overcome their negative perception of musical drama as well as make musical drama more approachable. In order to achieve this, children’s musical drama program using theme songs was developed based on current status and teacher recognition of musical drama collected from journal analysis of teacher interviews. Through implementation of investigation of teachers’ needs, as well as expert consultation and preliminary study, 6 picture book themes and theme songs capable of leading a flow were completed, thereby comprising final draft of a 12-lesson program that can simplify the complex musical drama process. It is hoped that the creative musical play through musical drama can flourish through this study.
