강해 설교의 저자 의도와 본문 해석의 다양성에 관한 연구

설교는 성경 해석과 시대의 담론들을 성경 본문을 통해 청중에게 바르게 적용하고 전달하는 것으로써 설교자들에게 부여된 고유 권한이다. 이 고귀한 사명의 부르심 앞에 모든 설교자는 소위 성경적 설교를 위해 오늘도 성경과 씨름하며 수고스러운 해석의 과정을 마다하지 않는다. “무엇이 성경적 설교인가?” 성경적 설교는 성경적이어야 한다는 것에는 다툼의 여지가 없다. 그동안 한국교회 안에 행해지는 설교에는 다양한 방법론들이 존재해 왔는데, 다수의 설교자들은 성경적 설교로 강해 설교를 선택했다. 그 이유는 강해 설교만이 제공하는 중요한 이미지가 존재하기 때문이다. 그것은 “성경 스스로 드러내도록 하여, 성경 자체가 그 본질을 나타내도록 하는 것으로” 성경에 기록된 본래의 의미를 찾아 그것을 시대에 적용하는 일련의 과정을 강해 설교의 핵심으로 이해하기 때문이다. 이는 여타 다른 설교 방법론들과 달리 단순한 방법론과 이론에 의존하지 않고 성경 해석의 과정 그 자체로써 강해 설교라는 기준점을 세울 수 있기 때문이다. 바로 그 해석의 중심에는 ‘저자 의도’가 있다. 강해 설교의 정의인 ‘역사적, 문법적, 문자적, 신학적 연구를 통해 발굴하고 알아내고자 하는 것이 바로 저자 의도이다.’ 저자 의도는 강해 설교의 성경 해석의 기준이며, 설교자가 반드시 찾아내야만 하는 원석과 같은 것으로 모든 설교의 내용과 적용의 핵심이라고 말할 수 있다. 하지만 강해 설교의 핵심이라고 말할 수 있는 저자 의도에는 해결해야 할 중요한 이슈가 존재한다. 그리고 이것에 대한 연구사례를 찾기 어려운 것은 강해 설교 안에 저자 의도는 ‘성경적 설교’라는 이미지를 제공하는 근간이기 때문일 것이다. 그럼에도 필자는 시시각각 변하는 시대 속에 강해 설교가 더욱 ‘성경적 설교’와 ‘시대를 담아내는 탁월한 설교’로 세워지길 바란다. 이에 본 논문에서는 강해 설교에서 다루지 않는 저자 의도에 대한 문제를 지적하고 본문 해석의 다양성의 관점과 새로운 설교학에서 제공하는 예언자적 해석의 필요성을 제시함으로 저자 의도의 발전방안을 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
Preaching is the Unique rights given to preachers by correctly applying and communicating the interpretation of the Bible and the discourses of the times to the audience through the text of the Bible. In the face of this noble mission call, all preachers struggle with the Bible today for so called biblical preaching and do not hesitate to interpret the laborious process of interpretation. “What is Biblical Preaching?” There is no dispute that biblical preaching must be biblical. In the meantime, various methodologies have existed for preaching in the Korean church, but many preachers chose expository preaching as biblical Preaching. The reason is that th ere is an important image that only expository preaching provides. It is “so that the Bible itself reveals itself, the Bible itself reveals its essence.” This is because it understands the core of the sermon by expounding on the series of processes of finding the original meaning recorded in the Bible and applying it to the times. This is because, unlike other preaching methodologies, it does not depend on simple methodologies and theories, and can establish the standard of expository preaching through the process of biblical interpretation itself. at the center of that Interpretation is the ‘author’s intention’. It is the author's intention to discover and find out through historical, grammatical, literal, and theological studies, which is the definition of expository preaching. It can be said that the author's intention is the standard of biblical interpretation of expository sermons, and is the core of the content and application of all sermons as a gemstone that preachers must find. However, there are important issues to be resolved in the author's intention, which can be said to be the core of expository preaching. And it is difficult to find research cases on this because the author's intention in expository preaching is the basis for providing the image of biblical preaching. Nevertheless, I hope that expository preaching will become more biblical preaching and excellent sermons that capture the times in the ever-changing times. Therefore, this paper intends to suggest a development plan for author's intention by pointing out the problem of author's intention that is not addressed in expository preaching, and by suggesting the need for prophetic interpretation from the perspective of diversity of textual interpretation and new homiletics.
