한국 교회 변혁을 위한 그리스도인의 신앙적 주체성 확립의 의의와 그 적용성

본고는 코로나19 이후 한국을 비롯해 전 세계에 말로 다할 수 없는 아픔과 고통을 안겨줄 뿐만 아니라 큰 변화의 물결이 휘몰아치고 있는 현 상황에서 한국 교회도 변해야 한다는 당위성의 문제의식을 가지고 ‘그리스도인의 신앙적 주체성 확립’을 그 변화의 가능성으로 제시해 보았다. 오늘의 한국 교회의 현실에서 가장 큰 문제점 중에 하나로 목사를 중심으로 한 닫힌 수직적 교회의 위계질서를 생각해 볼 수 있는데, 이 문제점을 해결할 방안으로 열린 수평적 질서, 즉 일반 신도의 주체적 신앙 확립에서 찾을 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 본고는 두 가지 측면, 즉 신학적 및 철학적 측면에서 접근해 볼 것이다. 신학적 측면에서는 종교 개혁 운동의 초석이자 발로인 루터의 ‘만인 제사장직’을, 철학적 측면에서는 키에르케고어의 하나님 앞에선 ‘단독자’ 내지 ‘주체성’ 개념을 통해 그리스도인의 신앙적 주체성 정립을 시도해 볼 것이다. 먼저 루터의 ‘만인 제사장직’을 통해서는 목회자와 일반 평신도 사이에 이 땅에 하나님 나라를 세우기 위해 역할과 기능에 있어서 구별될 뿐이지 신분상으로는 동일한 양 떼로서 차이가 전혀 존재하지 않는다는 사실이 드러날 것이다. 다음으로 키에르케고어의 주체사상을 통해서는 하나님 앞에 선 단독자로서 목회자를 비롯한 타자에 의해 자신의 신앙 세계를 확립하는 것이 아니라 철저히 독립된 개별자로서 스스로 신앙의 길을 개척하고 정립해 나가야 한다는 점 또한 드러날 것이다. 이런 간(間)학문적 접근 방법을 통해 그리스도인의 ‘홀로서기’ 내지 ‘주체성 확립’을 꾀하고자 하는데 본고의 근본적인 목적이 있다. 물론 결론 부분에서는 그리스도인의 신앙적 주체성 확립을 위한 현실적 대안으로 평신도를 위한 ‘신학 교육’과 ‘기독교 교양 교육’으로 나누어 제시해 보았다.
Abstract
In this paperexplores change in the church in the COVID-19 era. and the idea of ‘Establishing the Subjectivity of the Christian Faith.’ As one of the biggest problems in the reality of the Korean church today, we can think of the hierarchical order of the closed vertical church centered on the pastor. As a way to solve this problem, we suggest the open horizontal order, that is, establishing the subjective faith of ordinary believers. To this end, this study tries to establish the subjectivity of Christians’ faith through the concept of ‘a single person’ or subjectivity in front of God following Kierkegaard’s philosophy and Luther’s concept of ‘priesthood.’ First, Luther’s concept of ‘Priesthood,’ will reveal that there is no difference between pastors and ordinary laymen in terms of roles and functions in order to establish the kingdom of God on this earth. Next, through Kierkegaard’s idea of subjectivity is shown to require that the individual establish the path of faith by themself as a completely independent individual. Through this interdisciplinary approach, the aim of this article is to seek Christians’ aloneness and establish subjectivity. In conclusion, of course, it is suggested that Christians’ subjectivity of faith is established by dividing them into ‘theological education’ and ‘Christian liberal education’ for lay people as realistic alternatives.
