지방기록물관리기관의 이용자 체험 프로그램 현황 및 개선방안 연구

Abstract

Local government archival institutions contribute to the formation of regional identity and the enhancement of cultural literacy among local residents by managing regional records and providing related services and programs. This study focuses on user experience programs provided by local government archival institutions, analyzing their current operations and suggesting improvement measures. To this end, the study examines the user experience programs at the Seoul Archives, Gyeongnam Archives, and Cheongju Archives, analyzing aspects such as program frequency, target audience, themes, and activities, and conducted interviews with the respective archivist from each institution. Furthermore, case studies from the Norfolk Record Office in the UK and the Archives of Ontario in Canada were analyzed to draw insights applicable to the domestic institutions. Based on these analyses, the study suggests improvement measures, including expanding the diversity of program operations, broadening the target audience, developing programs that utilize local records, and increasing the variety of experiential activities.
