IT 기술의 발전과 기록물 생산 환경이 변화함에 따라 전자기록물의 종류도 전자문서, 웹기록물, 행정정보 데이터세트 등으로 다양화되고 있으며 각 유형은 세부적으로 분류될 수 있다. 국가기록원은 전자기록물의 장기적인 보존을 위해 2008년 표준을 제정하면서 문서보존포맷으로 PDF/A-1을 채택했다. PDF/A-1는 전자문서 유형에 특화되어 있으며, 특히 외관 보존에 초점을 맞춰져 있어 다른 유형에는 적용하기 어렵다. 이러한 단일 보존포맷 전략이 가진 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 전자기록물 유형별로 보존포맷을 선정할 수 있는 체계가 필요하며, 이를 위해서는 각각의 전자기록물 유형이 지닌 고유한 특성을 파악하는 것이 선행되어야 한다. 고유한 특성들은 대부분 응용 프로그램의 기능을 통해 구현된다. 본 논문에서는 전자문서의 3가지 유형(텍스트형, 스프레드시트형, 프리젠테이션형)과 관련된 주요 응용 프로그램들의 모든 기능을 조사, 분석하고자 한다.
Abstract
With the development of IT technology and changes in the record production environment, the types of electronic records are also diversifying into electronic documents, web records, administrative information datasets, etc., and each type can be classified in details. For the long-term preservation of electronic records, the National Archives of Korea adopted PDF/A-1 as the document preservation format with the establishment of the standard in 2008. It is difficult to apply to other types because it is particularly focused on preserving the appearance and PDF/A-1 is specialized for electronic document types. To solve the problem of such a single preservation format, it is necessary that preservation formats can be selected for each type of electronic record systematically. For this, it should be preceded by identifying the unique characteristics of each type of electronic records. Most of the characteristics are implemented as functions of the application. In this paper, all functions of major application programs related to the three types of electronic documents (textual, spreadsheet, and presentation).
