초록

Recently, an increase in metabolic syndrome increases the rate of transshipmentand risk and mortality in cardiovascular systems, and it is important to prevent improvementof risk factors before developing symptoms as a result of high coronary heart disease. Thisstudy is intended to identify the association of metabolic syndrome with hs-CRP and coronaryartery calcium score and use them as a basis for assessing future cardiovascular disease risks. We investigated 413 adults older than 20 (male: 260, female: 153) who visited Korea Associationof Health Promotion, Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch. and had medical check such as a scientificexamination including Blood pressure (Diastolic BP, Systolic BP, Uric acid), Basic inspection(height, weight, waist circumference) and, Blood test (Fasting plasma Glucose, HDL-Cholesterol,Triglycerides, hs-CRP, Total cholesterol, γ-GTP, LDL-cholesterol, total Bilirubin, e-GFR), andCoronary artery calcium score test together. The risk of metabolic syndrome increased as ageincreased, waist circumference increased, systolic blood pressure increased, triglyceride levelincreased, fasting blood glucose level increased, and LDL cholesterol increased. The greater theuric acid level, age increased, the more likely a person with diabetes affects the coronary arterycalcium score (p<0.05). Risk factors of metabolic syndrome may affect coronary artery calciumscore and are therefore considered necessary to manage cardiovascular disease risk factors.

Abstract

Recently, an increase in metabolic syndrome increases the rate of transshipmentand risk and mortality in cardiovascular systems, and it is important to prevent improvementof risk factors before developing symptoms as a result of high coronary heart disease. The greater theuric acid level, age increased, the more likely a person with diabetes affects the coronary arterycalcium score (p<0.05).
