초록

Radiation emitted from radiopharmaceuticals is medically utilized for diagnosis ortreatment of patients. However, radiation produced during the production of radiopharmaceuticalsmay result in unnecessary exposure to workers. This study concerns an automatic distributionsystem of radioactive solutions to minimize radiation exposure by workers in the productionof radiopharmaceuticals. We automated the process of recovering radioactive solutions intosyringes and distributing recovered solutions to empty vials to reduce exposure during the 131Iradiopharmaceuticals production process. In addition, we developed a distribution system thatallows the placement of a number of empty vials and the movement of the tray with empty vialsin order to perform the production process conveniently. The reduction in radiation exposurethat workers receive is directly related to worker safety. If this system is applied to the actualproduction process, it is expected to contribute to the safe performance of the radiopharmaceuticalsproduction process.
