초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the optimum flip angle by measuring SNR andCNR according to the change of in-phase and out-of-phase flip angle with INFINITT PACS Viewprogram. A total of 25 patients whose data of Liver MRI was transmitted through PACS wereselected randomly for this research. The equipment used for data analysis was 3.0T MRI machine. The technique used for image evaluation was in-phase and out-of-phase image analysis. Foranalysis, SNR and CNR were evaluated after setting a certain area of interest in each flip angleon liver, pancreas, spleen and kidney in the in-phase and out-of-phase images. In the quantitativeanalysis of the 6 kinds of flip angles, the statistical significance of SNR and CNR was examined byone-way ANOVA and the post-analysis was done by Tukey method. The measured value at 5° ofin-phase flip angle was (SNR: 101.19, CNR: 58.28) on liver, (SNR: 68.42, CNR: 25.66) on pancreas,(SNR: 18.00, CNR: 85.52) on spleen and (SNR: 78.86, CNR: 41.62) on kidney. The measured valueat 5° of out-of-phase flip angle was (SNR: 62.16, CNR: 86.32) on liver, (SNR: 42.35, CNR: 60.04)on pancreas, (SNR: 44.49, CNR: 64.44) on spleen and (SNR: 50.10, CNR: 71.87) on kidney. Themeasured value at 30° of in-phase flip angle was (SNR: 17.72, CNR: 14.90) on liver (SNR: 17.75,CNR: 0.70) on pancreas, (SNR: 21.74, CNR: 28.74) on spleen and (SNR: 1 1.97, CNR: 8.13) onkidney. The measured value at 30° of out-of-phase flip angle was(SNR: 11.28, CNR: 10.99) onliver, (SNR: 12.57, CNR: 10.48) on pancreas, (SNR: 12.57, CNR: 16.65) on spleen and (SNR: 9.33,CNR: 5.53) on kidney. The results of data analysis in this research show that the level of SNR andCNR values was the lowest at a high angle of 30° and the highest at 5° (p<0.05). In conclusion,in the evaluation of the image according to SNR and CNR values by applying flip angle to liver, pancreas, spleen and kidney, the angle of 5° has the best quality of image in the 5°~30° range.
