경제소비에서의 배제가 암생존자의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 대한 탐색적 연구

초록

본 연구는 암생존자의 삶의 질에 대해 경제소비에서의 배제가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 검증하고자한 탐색적 연구이다. 이를 위해 국민건강영양조사 제6기 1차년도(2013년) 자료에서 암을 진단받은 바 있는 203명의 대상자를 표본 추출하여 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 암생존자의 삶의 질에 대해 경제소비에서의 배제의 하위요인 중 의료서비스 이용에서의 배제가 삶의 질에 대해 유의미한 부적 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 암생존자의 삶의 질을 증진하기 위해서는 저소득층을 포함한 취약 계층의 의료접근성을 높일 수 있는 지원방안을 모색하고 지속적인 관리가 이루어질 필요성을 파악할 수 있었다. 더불어 암생존자의 삶의 질을 고찰함에 있어 경제적 수준으로만 단순 비교하는 것이 아닌 경제소비에서의 배제라는 보다 포괄적 개념에서의 삶의 질에 대한 논의가 이루어질 필요성을 제기하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between social exclusion and quality of life in cancer survivors, especially focused on the exclusion in economic activity and consumption. The research was conducted with 203 data from the 6th wave of the Panel Study of Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, hierarchical multiple regression analysis were conducted. Significant factors of quality of life in cancer survivors were disability, self-perception of health. Exclusion in medical service had a significant negative effect on quality of life, but the effect of exclusion in dietary consumption was not significant, which were also the sub-factors of the exclusion in economic activity and consumption. The exclusion in medical service was the most powerful predictor for quality of life in cancer survivors. In order to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors, it is necessary to provide social support and services to increase the accessibility of health care to vulnerable groups.
