Abstract
Predicting transported sediment yields by debris flow is essential for appropriate plans, which constructed facilities and determined the scale. For approaching a suitable for estimating transported sediment yields, we applied for calculation transported sediment yields using LiDAR data from three events associated with debris flow for 2023 years in South Korea. After that, we interpret the our estimation from previous studies. In here, for utilizing drone LiDAR data, a Digital Elevation Model(DEM) was concepted as pre-and post-debris flow condition, separately. In particular, DEM of the pre-debris condition was designed by surface reconstruction, and transported sediment yield (V1) was calculated by comparing the two digital elevation models. In addition, the Volume of Sediment Transported (V2~V5) estimated using the four models suggested in previous studies. As a result, V1 was estimated to be between 17,169.2~18,157.5㎥, while the values of V2~V5 were calculated to range from 0.01 to 3.94 times the value of V1. Ultimately, this study is expected to provide foundational data for predicting transported sediment yields by debris flow in forest watersheds.
