Abstract

The purpose of our study is to analyze an individual's psychological and physiological state using brain-based neurophysiological indicators and to explore the possibility of customizing beauty services using artificial intelligence. We conducted a small-scale experiment based on a survey that recognizes customized beauty and considered the possibility of integrating this idea with convolutional neural networks. We observed that women in their 30s, who use beauty services more than twice a month, showed enhanced awareness and willingness to accept customized beauty services. There was an increase in alpha waves and a decrease in high beta waves through the customized beauty program that promoted psychological stability and relaxation as well as improved subject satisfaction. In addition, the convolutional neural network contributed to classifying patterns and optimizing the experience using BrainWave data. Our study is significant in that it presents the possibility of beauty technology that is integrated with brain science and artificial intelligence. There are limitations to our exploratory study due to the small sample number. Follow- up studies based on large-scale clinical data are recommended to expand the application of precision modeling and beauty practice in the future.
