The purpose of this paper is to show the museum method, one of the project based on learning, and to apply it to elementary school English teaching. Projects are intensive experiences that engage students in activities that are interesting to them; they are important to the course of study which involve community members and settings, and they often result in an exhibition or product for a real-world purpose or audience. Among the projects, especially the museum method uses the metaphor of museum to encourage students to plan, organize, and display their learning about a particular issue, place, person, object, or event. Based on project approach, I propose the museum method should be applied to elementary extra curricular activity.
