소셜벤처 플래닝 수업 사례 연구－사회문제 해결 과정의 특징과 기업가정신 역량에 대한 효과를 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 사회문제 해결을 위한 교육 프로그램으로서 소셜벤처 플래닝 수업을 설계하고, 이를통해 학생들이 사회문제를 해결하는 과정에서 나타나는 특징과 기업가정신 역량의 변화를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 대학교 학부생을 대상으로 소셜벤처 플래닝 수업을 교양과목으로 개발하여 시행하였으며,수업 과정에서 다양한 질적 자료를 수집하고 기업가정신 역량 검사지를 수업 전후에 활용하여 자료를수집하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들이 사회문제를 해결하는 과정에서 세 가지 주요 특징이 나타났다. 첫째,학생들은 스스로를 사회문제 해결자로, 사회문제 피해자들을 당사자로 구분하는 이분법적 관점을 넘어,그 이면에 있는 복잡성을 인식하였다. 둘째, 학생들은 이상적이고 완벽한 해결책보다는 실용적이고실행 가능한 대안을 모색하며 현실적인 접근을 시도하였다. 셋째, 학생들은 완전히 새로운 해결안을제안하기보다는 기존의 해결책을 모방하거나 응용하는 방식으로 자신만의 차별화된 해결책을 제시함으로써 창의력을 발휘하였다. 기업가정신 역량은 소셜벤처 플래닝 수업 이후 유의미하게 향상된 것으로나타났다. 특히 ‘문제해결 역량’과 ‘경영지식’ 측면에서 유의미한 향상이 있었으나, ‘대인관계 역량’과‘아이디어 생성 역량’에서는 변화가 없었다. 연구의 결론 및 논의에서는 소셜벤처 플래닝 수업의 효과적인 적용을 위한 제언을 다루었다.

Abstract

This study developed an educational program, the “Social-Venture Planning Course”, to tackle social issues and aimedto identify features of the social problem-solving processes of students and to scrutinize changes in their entrepreneurialcompetencies. The course was designed as a liberal arts class for undergraduate students. Various qualitative data were gatheredthroughout the program, and entrepreneurial competency was assessed before and after the course and then analyzed. Thestudy revealed three key characteristics in the students' problem-solving processes. First, students demonstrated a nuancedunderstanding of social problems, recognizing their complexity beyond a simple dichotomy of solver and affected stakeholder. Second, they showed a practical and feasible approach to solutions, prioritizing real-world applicability over idealistic perfection. Third, students displayed creativity by adapting existing solutions and presenting their own unique approaches, showcasingtheir ability to think innovatively within practical constraints. The Social-Venture Planning Course led to significantimprovements in students' entrepreneurial competencies. Notably, substantial enhancements in problem-solving competencyand management knowledge indicated the course's effectiveness in these areas, while interpersonal skills and idea generationcompetency remained unchanging. The study's conclusions and discussions offered valuable insights for the effectiveimplementation of the Social-Venture Planning Course, highlighting its potential to foster a wide range of entrepreneurialcompetencies.
