에큐메니즘에 대한 비판적 해석학적 성찰

올해 역사적인 제10차 WCC 부산총회(2013. 10. 30-11. 8)를 앞두고 한국교회는 교에큐메니즘의 본성, 정신 및 활동에 대한 신학적 갈등및 교회적 분열에 직면해 있다. 필자는 한국교회의 에큐메니칼 운동의근원적 위기를 교회일치와 선교의 상호관계성에 대한 신학적 대화 및이해의 결핍으로 보면서, WCC 부산총회의 온전한 축제적 만남을 위하여, 한국교회들 사이의 신학적 반감과 교회적 분열을 치유할 수 있는대안으로 에큐메니즘에 대한 비판적 해석학적 성찰을 아래와 같이 시도한다. 첫째, 에큐메니즘의 정의, 역사 및 위기를 통해 교회일치운동의공헌 및 위기의 근원을 알아본다. 둘째, 에큐메니즘의 위기의 대안으로교회의 다양성, 통일성 및 선교의 상호관계성 그리고 교회일치의 종말론적 본성 및 단계에 대한 신학적 대화 및 이해를 제시한다. 셋째, 교회일치운동의 온전한 수행을 위하여, 교회의 일치와 선교에 대한 신학적대화 및 이해를 통한 합의(수렴)에 이르는 해석학적 과제, 즉 신학의해석학적 본성, 필연성 및 과정을 알아본다. 넷째, 상호비판적 해석학적차원들과 교회일치의 종말론적 단계를 연결시켜, 제10차 WCC 부산총회와 관련하여 발생한 한국교회의 신학적 갈등과 교회적 분열을 치유할 수 있는 해결책들을 비판적 해석학적 관점에서 제시해본다. 끝으로 교회일치운동의 종말론적 해석학적 본성 및 단계를 확인하면서, 신학의갈등을 합의로, 교회의 분열을 일치로 회복하기 위해 에큐메니칼 대화와 선교는 필수적임을 강조하며 글을 맺는다.
Abstract
In face of the 10th WCC Pusan Conference (2013. 10. 30-11. 8),the Korean church confront theological conflicts and churchly divisions on the nature, spirit and activities of Ecumenism. I see the root cause of the ecumenical movement as the lack of theological dialogue and understanding of correlation between church unity and mission. For the sake of the whole, festival meeting of the 10th WCC Conference at Pusan in Korea, this paper attempts to make critical hermeneutical reflection on Ecumenism as alternatives to healing theological antipathy and churchly division as follows. First, this paper reviews the contributions and causes of the crisis of the ecumenical movement. Second, as alternatives to the crisis of Ecumenism, it suggests theological dialogue and understanding of the interrelations of diversity, unity and mission of the church and eschatological nature and stages of church unity. Third, it explores its hermeneutical tasks (i.e., hermeneutical nature, necessity and process of theology) in order to fulfill the whole ecumenical movement,which leads to theological agreement or convergence through theological dialogue and understanding. Fourth, from a critical hermeneutical perspective, it suggests some ways to deal with theological conflicts and churchly divisions in relation to the WCC Pusan Conference, by relating mutually critical hermeneutical dimensions to eschatological stages of church unity. Lastly, confirming the eschatological and hermeneutical nature and dimensions of the ecumentical movement, this paper ends with the emphasis on the necessity of the ecumenical dialogue and mission in order to restore theological conflicts to agreements and churchly divisions to unity.
