본회퍼의 평화를 위한 저항 : 종교적 魔性에 대한 저항으로서의 하나님 말씀에 대한 順服

본 논문은, 독재자이자 세계 제2차 대전을 일으킨 아돌프 히틀러(Adolf Hitler, 1889-1945)에 대항하는 운동을 이끌었던 젊은 신학자이자 목사인 디트리히 본회퍼(D. Bonhoeffer)의 평화-사상을 다루고 있다. 본 주제는, 본회퍼의 독일 국적을 고려해 볼 때, 매우 중요한 논제이다. 왜냐하면 자기 조국의원수에 대한 반항 혹은 저항은 가끔 매국노로 간주되기 때문이다. 그러므로 일반적으로 매국노의 사상을 연구하는 것은, 정치적 신학적 양면성 혹은 양자택일 때문에, 그렇데 쉽지만은 않다. 바로 이러한 이유로 인하여, 본회퍼의 평화-사상을 연구하는 것은－즉 매국노로 취급된 사람의 궁극적인 사상 혹은 근본진리를 연구하는 것은－매우 중요하다. 이러한 의미에서 우리 신학자들이, 독재자, 아돌프 히틀러에 대항하여 본회퍼가 저항하게 된 그의 신학적 출발점과 성서적 근거를 연구하는 것과 히틀러에 열정적으로 대항한 본회퍼의 궁극적 목표가 무엇인지를 발견해 내는 것은, 매우 중요한 것이 아닐 수 없다. 본 연구의 범위는 본회퍼의『저항과 복종』에 한정되어 있다. 특별히 본 연구는, 본회퍼가 사형 언도를 받고 난 후 그가 쓴‘시’들에 집중되어 있다. 왜냐하면 그는 자신의 죽음에 대하여 인지하고 난 후에 많은 양의 시를 썼기 때문이다.『저항과 복종』에서 그는‘기독교가 종교화된 것’으로 특징지었다. 이러한개념을 어떤 학자는‘성서 개념의 비종교적 해석’이라고 이해하였다. 그러나본회퍼에게 있어서 기독교는 아래의4가지 양태를 가진‘종교로 되어가고 있다’. 즉 1) 정치적 마성, 2) 연약한 심리학적 마성, 3) 이성의 합리적 마성, 4) 무지의 마성. 이러한 4가지 원인들은, 그에 의하면, 기독교를 종교가 되도록 만들었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 기독교는 종교적 마성들에 대항하여, 하나님의 말씀을따르고 순복의 행동을 전개해야 한다. 이를 위해서 첫째로1) 무엇보다도 모든기독교인들은 위에서 언급한 마성들을 극복하기 위하여, 하나님의 말씀을 순종하는 믿음을 가져야 한다. 2) 기독교인들은 이 세상의 마성에 대항하는 근본적인 신앙으로서 저 세상에 대한 인식을 가져야 한다. 3) 신실한 기독교인들은 고난과 순교를 감내할 수 있어야 한다. 이러한 점에서 볼 때, 본회퍼의 화해와 세계 평화를 위한 사상은 기독교인들의 고난의 순교에 관한 세 가지 특성들 위해 근거해 있다고 볼 수 있다. 무엇보다도 먼저1) 기독교인들의 고난의 순교는 결코 실패를 의미하는 것이 아니라, 오히려 하나님 자신을 따르고자 하는 해위, 즉 하나님의 절대적인 말씀에순종하는 것을 의미한다. 2) 기독교인들의 고난의 순교는 하나님의 선한 의지와 악에 의해서 유도된 죄인인 인간에 대한 징벌 사이의 화해를 의미한다. 3)기독교인들의 고난의 순교는 영원한‘임마누엘God with us’에 대한 희망을 의미한다. 이러한 근거에서, 독일의 독재자 히틀러에 대한 본회퍼의 저항 행동은두 가지 양태를 가지는데, 그 중 하나는 악에 대한 저항이고, 다른 하나는 하나님 말씀에 대한 순종이다.
Abstract
This presentation deals with peace-thought of a young theologian and a pastor, Dietrich Bonhoeffer who led a demonstration against Adolf Hitler (1889-1945), a dictator of the Germany and a breaker of the 2th world war. This theme is a very serious subject in considering on Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s nationality of the Germany because demonstration against the leader of his own nation sometimes can be executed for treason. Therefore it is not easy to study high traitor’s thought in general for the sake of the political or theological ambivalence or alternative. For this reason it is also very important for a theologian seeking basic truth or ultimate thought of traitors. In this sense we would understand the theological stating point or biblical ground of Bonhoeffer’s resistance against the dictator Adolf Hitler and find out the ultimate goal of his intensive resistance against him. This studying’s scope is restricted within the “Widerstand und Ergebung” written by Bonhoefer. Especially this investigation is concentrated on poetries written by Bonhoeffer who was decided to death. Because he had written a great deal of poetries since that he had acknowledging about death. In “Widerstand und Ergebung” he had characterized the Christianity as the religion-became. Under this viewpoint someone has understand “die nicht-religiöse Interpretation biblischer Begriffe.” But for him is the Christianity becoming to a religion to be characterized with the following 4 aspects: 1) a political devilishness, 2) a weak-kneed psychological devilishness, 3) a rational devilishness of reason and 4) devilishness of ignorance. These 4 causes, according to him, made the Christianity to be a religion. Nevertheless the Christian have to act against the religion’s devilishness through the obedience and following to the word of God. For this 1) above all Christian should have the belief to obey the word of God in order to overcome the very above mentioned devilishness. 2) The Christian have an acknowledgment of ‘the world beyond’ as a fundamental faith against the devilishness of this world. 3) The faithful Christians have to be capable of carrying out a suppression even a suffer martyrdom. For these reasons Bonhoeffer’s thought for the reconciliation and the peace of the world based on three characters according to the suffer martyrdom of the Christian. First of all the suffer martyrdom of Christian means not a fail, but the obedience to the absolute word of God to follow himself. 2) A suffer martyrdom of Christian as the reconciliation between good will of God and punishment of the sinner of man leaded by the evil. 3) A suffer martyrdom of Christian as the hope for the everlasting “God with us”. In this reason Bonhoeffer’s resistance action against to Adolf Hitler, a dictator of the Germany has twofold aspects of resistance and the obedience to the word of God.
