긍정심리학과 신학의 대화에 기초한 긍정신학(Theologia Positiva)의 시론적(試論的) 연구

초록

이 글은 긍정신학의 가능성을 모색하는 시론적 연구다. 여기서의 긍정신학이란 신학의 긍정적 측면을 더 부각시켜 신학의 새로운 패러다임을 제시하려는 신학이다. 그리고 이 글은 방법론적으로 행복과 기쁨, 플러리싱(flourishing)과 굿라이프(good life)라는 주제를 접촉점으로 삼아 긍정심리학과 신학간의 대화를 시도하고, 그것을 토대로 긍정신학을 구성하려는 글이다. 따라서 이글은행복이나 기쁨, 플러리싱에 대한 학제 간 연구를 토대로 신학의 패러다임의 변화를 촉구하는 논문이다. 이글을 진행하면서 이러한 대화를 시도하게 된 동기를 언급하려 한다. 여기서 밝히는 동기와 배경은 이 주제의 중요성을 잘 부각시켜 줄 것이다. 우선, 긍정심리학을 개괄적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 한국 신학 상황에서는 긍정심리학과 신학의 대화가 널리 알려지지않아 긍정심리학에 대한 개론적 소개가 필요할 것이기 때문이다. 그리고 행복과 기쁨, 플러리싱과 굿 라이프에 대한 최근 신학의 연구 동향을 서술하려한다. 이를 통하여 이 창의적 주제가 어떤 관점에서 연구되고 있고, 얼마나 신학에 영향을 끼치고 있는지를 알게될 것이다. 아울러 이 주제가 오늘날 얼마나 시의적절한 주제인지를 깨닫게 될 것이고, 이 논문 역시 이런 창의적 연구의 동선에 있음을 알게 될 것이다. 그 다음, 이 주제에 대한 신학적 접근을 시도하고 긍정신학의 방향으로 가야한다는 시론적 당위성을 이야기하고마무리 하고자 한다. 한국의 신학계에서도 이에 관한 토론의 장이조속히 열리길 기대한다. “기독교는 기쁨의 종교다.”

Abstract

This article is an introductory inquiry into the possibility of positive theology. The positive theology here is a theology that will present a new paradigm of theology by highlighting the positive aspects of theology. Methodologically, this article tries to construct the positive theology, based on an interdisciplinary conversation about happiness, joy and flourishing life between positive psy『chology and theology. First I would like to mention the motivation for this dialogue. The motivations and backgrounds that we have here will reveal the importance of this topic. And then we will look at positive psy『chology at a glance. In the Korean theological context, dialogues between theology and positive psychology are not widely known, so an introduction to positive psychology is needed. And next, I want to describe research trends on happiness, joy, flourishing and good life. Through this, you will see how much this creative subject is being studied and it is affecting streams of traditional theology. In addition, you will realize how timely this topic is today. And next, Finally, I would like to explain definition, methods and tasks of positive theo『logy. I expect that a discussion forum will be held at the theological school in Korea as soon as possible. “Christianity is a religion of joy.”
