본 연구에서는 자연의 신학적 관점에서 인간 본성에 대한 이해가 시도된다. 이를 위해 우선적으로 칼 바르트의 뺷교회교의학 III/2 “인간론”을통해 예수 그리스도의 계시 가운데 드러난 인간 일반의 인간다움이란‘동료인간들 간의 상호돌봄’과 영혼과 신체의 통일성 속에서 이를 수행할 수 있는 ‘개별 인간의 주체적 특성’에 있다는 사실이 제시된다. 이어서 인간에 대한 자연과학적 해명 중 이러한 신학적 인간론과 일치하는경우들을 살펴봄으로써 한편으로는 인간이라는 주제와 관련하여 신학과 자연과학 간의 대화를 위한 일종의 해석적 전제를 마련하고, 다른 한편으로는 다양한 자연과학적 해명들이 밝히는 생명체로서의 인간의 모습들이 일종의 하나님의 은총의 비유 혹은 표징으로 이해될 수 있다는사실이 제시될 것이다. 이 과정에서 바르트의 인간론 안에 자연의 신학의 관점에서 자연과학과 대화할 수 있는 요소들이 담겨 있다는 것이 드러나게 될 것이다.
Abstract
This essay attempts to understand human nature in the perspective of ‘theology of nature’. Through the analysis of Karl Barth’s anthropology in his Church Dogmatics III/2, it is presented that the essential of human nature in general lies in mutual care among fellow humans and subjectivity of individual human who lives in the unity of body and soul. After that, on the one hand, a kind of hermeneutic premise for dialogue between theology and natural science in relation to the human nature is to be presented. On the other hand, it will be argued that the characteristics of humans which are explained by natural science show the being of human creature as sign or metaphor for the grace of God, the Creator. That Barth’s theological anthropology contains useful elements for the dialogue between theology and natural science about the human being, specifically in terms of theology of nature, will be presented.
