마리 쉬나르와 앙줄랭 프렐조카주의<봄의 제전> 작품에 나타난 특성 비교연구

이고르 스트라빈스키의 <봄의 제전>은 음악상의 강렬하고 난해한 성격으로 인해 니진스키가안무해 초연된 당시에는 혹평을 받았으나 이후 여러 음악가들과 안무가들의 사랑을 받으며 각기다른 해석으로 연주, 공연되어왔다. 올해로 101주년을 맞이한 <봄의 제전>은 60여 편이 넘는 버전을 가지고 있으며 특히 마리 쉬나르와 앙줄랭 프렐조카주의 <봄의 제전>은 음악의 성격을 잘표현해내고 있을 뿐만 아니라 작품해석, 독특한 오브제의 사용과 움직임 등의 특성으로 인해 주목받을 만한 작품들이다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 알아본 그 특성은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문명과 관습에서 벗어남을 표현하기 위해 두 작품 다 토플리스 혹은 전라를 사용하고 있는데 이는 인간본래의 원초적 모습과 본질로의 회귀를 의미하고 있다. 둘째, 두 작품은 오브제를 통해 안무가의의도를 효과적으로 전달하고 시각적 표현을 증대시켜 신선한 이미지를 형상화하였으며 자신들의연출미학을 확고히 했다. 셋째, 움직임에 있어서 마리 쉬나르가 비정형적이고 그로테스크하며 미지의 생물 혹은 미래의 어떤 것을 초현실적으로 표현했다면 앙줄랭 프렐조카주는 발레 특유의정리된 구조와 유니슨을 사용해 동질성을 강조했다.
Abstract
The purpose of the present thesis is to compare with the characteristics in Marie Chouinard andAngelin Preljocaj's <Rite of spring>. This year, <Rite of spring> for the 101 anniversary, so amongthe numerous versions in particular Marie Chouinard and Angelin Preljocaj‘s <Rite of spring> music'scharacter does well represented, as well as due to its unique characteristics would get noticed. Therefore, this study was examined by its characteristics(meaningful subject, unique object and Movemen). First, the two works to represent the civilized and non-customary is topless or naked, and thepristine look of the original essence of the human being by means of regression. The second, theuse of objet, Chouinard's creation carrying horns used symbolically as the human body the state ofnature and aboriginality, Preljocaj giving the relocatable Green-stage used objet as a modern-dayjunction of primitive. The third, on movement, Chouinard expressed as irregular or grotesque andsurreal future of unknown creatures, Preljocaj highlighted by homogeneity as organized structureand unison in Ballet.
